It's the two year anniversary today. Still have your bracelet and the tattoos that me and the boys got in remembrance of what went down on the 4th. We still have you in our hearts Kevin.

Everybody in the platoon are going to be having a beer for you later on tonight.

It's hard to believe it been a year already. I was Kevin's First Sergeant, I called him my quiet professional. He was a warrior well respected and loved by all who served with him. My continued condolences to the Hill Family, and hope to visit him in his final resting place one day.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the hill family. Such a tragedy for such a gentle and accomplished young man. I know his grandmother, Hyacinth Hurst and it pains me to think of what a great loss this is to her and the entire family. We are losing too many good young men in the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. I hope and pray President Obama will reasses the situation there so we do not continue to lose good men like Kevin Hill. May God rest his soul.
