Very unusual for the D in Bensonhurst to switch to the R, most weekends it is the N. It can be inbound or outbound and at least one does see heavy equipment and work being done. The MTA puts posters up in every station every Thursday with weekend advisories. Once can also sign up to receive email notices.

My biggest concern with the Mighty D train lately is overcrowding during off peak. Coming home Sunday night at 10:30PM was standing room only. Our newly installed head of the MTA needs to do some riding around and then he will see that we need More Trains More Often especially late at night. Once this is addressed he do his window-dressing.
