Yes there was too much tension on this game, first one in cairo, the egyptians must honestly ask themselves on what did truly happened, but they wouldn't and kept quiet on the ATTACK the algerian players experienced, if not it was to distract and intimidate these players, whom clearly you saw injured and looked so out of place but still played though!!! Ok there was an overreaction from some supporters, now compare the egyptian reaction after losing, their media and supporters have completely lost the plot, they are the bigger nation after all, listening to some of their journalists-actors-singers-film makers and this people consider themlselves intelctuals and contributing so much on the CULTURAL ARENA just make you want to vomit portraying patriotic slogan calling algerians barbarians ill educated.....and the list does not stop there, how poor this is, I even listened to the son of husni moubarek who clearly and utterly denies anything happening to the algerian players in egypt, ooooh spooky the algerian players injured themselves, WAKE-UP people and stop insulting each other and always remember that THE TRUTH SHALL AND WILL PREVAIL

As your piece states, this was much more than a game for both sides but for one side it has become criminal. After the game, which took place in Sudan, scores of Algerian fans cause havok throughout the streets, buildings and hotels of Sudan. The Algerian crowd although having just equalified for the World Cup were out for blood, Egyptian blood. They purchased knives, carried sticks with nails affixed to them and went hunting. The Algerian government sent criminals masked as soccer fans and Egyptian sent actors and singers, the fight was not equal. The Sudanese gov't participated in the assaults by not doing anything to defend the innocent and unarmed, the Sudanese police officers ran off in the first sight of assaults. The Egyptians were held up in hotels fearing for their lives and thankfully a few Sudanese families risks their own lives by helping to hide the Egyptian elite in their homes. The Egyptian President sent commercial planes and military forces to aid their people and spread the word to all Egyptians to make their way to the Sudanese Airport where there would be planes to return them home safely. "No passports were needed, we know you are Egyptian just come in", they were told. Currently this has become a serious political and probably military issue because these unprovoked attacks of innocent Egyptians in the hands of criminal Algerian soccer fans were planned and calculated and without a doubt by the Algerian government and internal terrorist, Al-Caida. The US gov't knows the terrorist group is in Algeria and actively operating and says nothing. Now the ball is in Algeria's court stop preventing Egyptian nationals in your country from returning back to Egypt or deal with the ramifications. The Egyptian president has made it clear to them this morning, let them come home or we will go get them out ourselves!
