The Brooklyn Ink

The Brooklyn Paper reports that areas of northeast Greenpoint are dangerously contaminated. Some dry cleaning agencies are apparently using the area as their own toxic waste dump, and the state environmental agency is tasked with cleaning it up.

This isn’t the first time Greenpoint has been a dumping ground for careless companies. Where’s John Travolta when we need him?
