I was a devoted client of Mudhoney for 12 years and now go to Graceland. Mud Honey is a legendary salon and deserves its reputation for many reasons. While Alicia was not a formal business partner of Michael’s, as a client, I can say with confidence that she was a partner in creating the atmosphere and culture that helped build the Mudhoney brand. A good leader does nothing on his own, and Michael is a good leader.

Hey Guys! Congratulations and Good Luck. Being part of the Mudhoney family since inception, it is nice to see credit going to Michael. He had a vision and it is great that you have continued the “rock and roll hair” tradition. Looks like a cool salon and brilliant idea to include Tattoo artists to the mix. One thing I wanted to clarify was that although Alicia Trani was a vital component to the Salon’s success, she was not partnered with Michael. He did it all on his own. Mudhoney is located at 148 Sullivan and also in NoHo at 85 Kenmare.

Once you’ve gotten a permanent tattoo, the hardest part is over
