Brownstoner.com reported that the top five floors of the property at 53 Bridge Street in Dumbo appear to be coming down. The Brooklyn Ink confirmed that these top floors, added on by its owner in 2005, are being dismantled in response to a take-down order from the NYC Department of Buildings. New zoning rules now prohibit buildings in the area from exceeding a certain height.
