Teenager arrested in slaying

A 19-year-old man was arrested this morning for murdering another teenager in Midwood.
Gavin Torres was shot twice in the chest shortly after midnight Tuesday. Police officers heard a gunshot on a routine patrol of Coney Island, and arrived to see Julio Iglesias fire two shots at the victim. They pursued him on foot and caught him shortly later.
Iglesias has been charged with second degree murder.
