Bridge bikers bemoan tourists

The increasing appearance of warmer-weather tourists frustrates pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Brooklyn Bridge—a delicate a narrow lane of traffic is becoming more precarious than the pleasure stroll many intended.

That’s for sure, especially if you’re biking. I’m all for people enjoying the bridge but so many pedestrians just don’t pay attention. And the Brooklyn Bridge has separate paths for pedestrians and bikers, but there are always people walking in the bike lane, many of whom don’t even look up to see if anyone’s coming. I’m less concerned about my trip being delayed a bit than the potential for a painful collision.
