Park Slope food co-op challenges Barney’s over name
The members-only Park Slope Food Coop, known for its affordable produce and left-wing views, plans to challenge Barney’s Co-op over the use of the term ‘co-op’. The Barney’s fashion chain plans to expand into Brooklyn this fall.
