Stolen Car Returned After 3 Years
Mon, Apr 26, 2010
Amanda Pogany got an unexpected surprise when NYPD called to say they had recovered her stolen car, the Daily News reports. Pogany’s car disappeared in 2006 and was returned after police raided a chop shop in Queens. But the white 2006 Honda Accord was returned with a few modifications, namely a V-8 racing engine, low profile tires and a manual stick shift. “I’m Jewish,” Pogany said, “and I don’t even know how to drive a stick shift!”
