The Brooklyn Paper has the story of a grieving mother of a bicyclist who was run down and killed on April 14th as he was on his way to class at Brooklyn College.

Laraine McDonough is joinging a cycling advocate campaign for a bike lane in at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Beverly Road, where her son, Jake McDonough was killed.

“I don’t see how anyone could object [to a bike lane],” Laraine McDonough said.
