When Prokhorov sounds exasperated because you keep bringing up the arena, I can see why- he clearly cares less about all of that than he does about creating a winner. Questions about possible free agent targets would have been more interesting, even if he couldn't completely answer them due to tampering rules. Since he is a newcomer to the States, he is obviously trying to establish a positive image for himself by talking about his intelligentsia family and his mining experience. In reality, Prokhorov's father was a member of the KGB and listening to the Voice of America was part of his job and not a sign of liberal thinking. And considering that Prokhorov was a majority stakeholder at NN it is hardly likely that he needed approval of the "community" to turn NN into a globally recognized company--this is simply PR.
