Two entrepreneurs are opening a DIY winery at a former art gallery on N. Eighth Street in Williamsburg this fall, allowing anyone who wants to get in on the process to do so. You can even smash grapes. Brian Leventhal and John Stires, who are creating the space, want to make wine making accessible to everyone in Williamsburg. Newbie vintners will be part of the entire process, even through the months it takes (eight to 10) to finish a bottle of wine.
