The emergency room at Kings County Hospital was shut down while exterminators worked to rid the wing of one bed bug. A spokeswoman for the hospital said a patient was transported by ambulance to Kings County and “there was a bed bug.” “As a precaution, the room the patient was in was fumigated,” Hope Mason, a spokeswoman, told the Daily News. “No other bedbugs were found.”
