Brooklyn Deputy Sheriff Under Arrest

Deputy Sheriff James Smyth, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Wednesday and hit with almost a dozen different charges for allegedly stealing approximately $13,000 from the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.
According to the indictment, Smyth allegedly wrote eight checks to himself, using three of the union’s different bank accounts.
Help! My company Agent-cy won a small claims case against a restaurant we did marketing for (Tutuma Social Club) who didn’t pay their last 2 invoices – last year. Deputy Smyth was assigned to collect the money and didn’t help at all. I’ve been looking for help since. Who do I go to for the Brooklyn Sherriff’s office?

you apparently sued incorrectly and the defendant is misnamed.
The Sheriffs Office does not put up expenses for advertising a sale nor do they investigate private lawsuits. You went to small claims court and after winning your judgment was told “go to the Sheriffs Office it their job to enforce the judgment.
Why didn’t you go to a private City Marshal? Because they couldn’t be bothered with your unenforcable judgment and the City Marshal go to the Sheriffs Office,why? Because a City Marshal doesn’t want to waste his or her time on a case like this.
The Sheriffs Office can sell the property at the buisness but the legal name of the buisness must be correct also you will need to put up the expense money to cover the advertising approx $750.00 which must be put up by YOU. the City of New York is not going to put out the money. Also you must do uniform commercial code searches in Kings County and through the secretary of State in Albany invade there are individual or buisnesses that have leased equipment or other materials to the restaurant. The Sheriffs Office must notify these parties so they can assert a claim for their property.
Or you need to locate other assests of the party you sued such as a bank account, locating these assests are your responsability.
Ahhhh…… Small claims court….. They tell you zero….. Then they tell you to go to the Sheriffs Office, and they have to spend 30 minutes to explain what your responsibilities are….
There is no judge Judy and a guy name rusty waiting in the hall waiting to have you sign papers.
The Sheriffs Office is not there to provide you with free legal or investigative duties. Please Don’t tell anyone “it was the pricipal of the matter” if that was the case you WON, but it the money not the principle. A person who acts as their own lawyer, has a FOOL fir a client.
