Brooklyn Nursing Home Laying Off More Than 500 Employees
The Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center, a non-profit institution, is being sold to the Boro Park Operating Company and the Boro Park Land Company for $60 million. The new owners have informed the city that they plan to cut 506 jobs after the sale is complete.
