NY State Republicans Want to Redistrict Southern Brooklyn
Republican members of the New York State Senate revealed their proposed redistricting plans Thursday, which eliminated State Senator Carl Kruger’s 27th District that sits between Mill Basin and Brighton Beach, the Brooklyn Paper reported. The new map would divide Sen. Kruger’s constituents among Sen. Marty Golden’s (R–Bay Ridge) and Sen. John Sampson’s (D–Canarsie) districts.
