Top Official: Long Island College Hospital Not “A Sound Acquisition”
SUNY Chairman Carl McCall, in charge of deciding the fate of Long Island College Hospital, sees it as a money loser many locals don’t use. He suggested LICH is sucking the life out of SUNY Downstate Medical Center which it’s part of — and Downstate could run out of money as soon as March.
