More than six out of ten voters in the State of New York said they supported Governor Andrew Cuomo’s new gun control law, arguably among the strictest in the nation. According to a new Siena College poll released today, the NY Safe Act is mainly supported by Democrats and downstaters. However, 42 percent of voters believe that the law was rushed through without adequate consideration.
