Neil Chamberlain, a 28-year-old web designer is in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital after he was hit by a speeding car on Calyer Street between McGuiness Boulevard and Newel Street Sunday morning. Though Greenpoint’s Peter Pan Donuts has long been a favorite of doughnut enthusiasts, it only recently entered comedian Tina Fey’s radar. Some dry cleaning agencies are apparently using the area as their own toxic waste dump, and the state environmental agency is tasked with cleaning it up.
